When we first released Director, it was a promising experiment: “What if you could describe a task in English, and an agent could carry it out in a browser?”

Most “AI browsing” features are ephemeral: you give a prompt, an LLM puppeteers a page, and you’re left with… nothing reusable. On the other end, traditional RPA and headless automation demand significant engineering to be robust. Director collapses this gap.

Director is a full-fledged automation platform that can take on enterprise-scale workflows and write its own reliable, reusable code as it goes.
