Get started with Proxies

This template shows how to use Browserbase proxies to control where and how your automation traffic is routed. You can start with built-in rotating proxies, switch to geo-specific endpoints (US, EU, APAC), or plug in your own custom proxy for compliance and advanced access needs. Perfect for region-locked sites, localized testing, and workflows that require controlled IP addresses.

Steps

  1. Create a Browserbase session with a default proxy (built-in rotation).
  2. Verify IP address and geolocation from within the session.
  3. Configure a geo-specific proxy (e.g., US, EU, or APAC).
  4. Rerun the verification to confirm the new routing.
  5. (Optional) Provide custom external proxy settings for specialized compliance or access needs.
